Underneath her statement coat, Malia layered a crisp white collared shirt with a vibrant orange and yellow sweatshirt, pairing it with baggy blue jeans and sleek black sneakers. She kept accessories minimal but chic, carrying a large brown shoulder bag while letting her red-tinged waves flow naturally.
Making Her Mark in Hollywood
Beyond her fashion sense, Malia is carving her own path in the entertainment industry. She directed a short film, The Heart, in 2023 under the name Malia Ann, choosing to drop the Obama surname to establish herself on her own terms.
Former President Barack Obama shared a lighthearted conversation about her decision. “I told her, ‘You know they’ll figure out who you are, right?’” he recalled in an interview. “And she just said, ‘I want them to watch it without any preconceptions.’”
Her younger sister, Sasha, is also thriving, and the two have built a strong bond while living together in LA.
