Twilight: Breaking Dawn, Part 2 Review

By Courtney Hickey

On November 16 the last movie of the Twilight Saga finally arrived in the theaters. Through out the saga these movies all built up to the final movie, in which all the characters came to a point where they were forced to make hard choices and sacrifices.

In these previous movies Bella (Kristen Stewart) came to the small town of Forks, Washington to start fresh with her dad. There she came in contact with a vampire named Edward (Robert Pattinson) with whom she fell in love. Through out of all the movies, Bella and Edward had their challenges, but nothing compares to what they face in part two of Breaking Dawn.

Part 1 it ended with Bella’s awakening as a vampire after giving birth to a baby girl named Renesmee. The biggest shock at the end of part one was when Jacob (Taylor Lautner) imprinted on Renesmee, saving her life.

Part two is an astonishing movie. After Bella is changed from a human to vampire, all of the Cullens are shocked at how fast she adapts to the vampire life. She had the power to overcome all of the cravings for human blood,  and to control her speed, strength, etc. Her newfound skills are essential when the Cullens face the all-powerful Volturi, who want to kill Renesmee because they mistakenly believe she is an immortal, a little child who was turned into a vampire. The Cullens have to gather lots of vampires that can testify that Renesmee was born, not bitten.

Lots of Twilight fans have been talking about the plot twist that comes at the end of the film. The twist is so intense and over whelming that it made the movie a hundred times better. Overall this movie was the best of the Twilight Saga. Fans of the series will be more than satisfied with the dramatic twist. I give it 5 out of 5 bear paws
